LEAP offers 14 different languages

The University Language Centre's LEAP courses provide students and staff with the opportunity to learn a language.

How to enrol


Not all Schools allow students to take free-choice language (also called LEAP). You should therefore check with your School Undergraduate office before applying.

LEAP operates an application system and places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Please apply via our website. If you have any questions about the application process, please contact leap@manchester.ac.uk.
